Houck

Houck has been serving the mid-Atlantic region since 1947 providing commercial and institutional roof installations, re-roofing, repairs and maintenance, masonry restoration, concrete rehabilitation, flooring systems, sealants/waterproofing and green solutions. With offices in Harrisburg and Lancaster, PA, Houck offers a full range of services to protect the entire building envelope – from the floor to the roof.

In 1980, after serving in the United States Army and graduating from Penn State University, Lawrence’s son Gary L. Houck bought the company. Under Gary’s leadership, the company began providing masonry restoration services. In 1982, Gary purchased Bader & Son Roofing and Flooring Company, significantly expanding the company’s capabilities to include roofing and flooring services.

Today, the Houck organization consists of two companies, Houck Services, Inc. and Houck & Company, Inc.

Houck Services is responsible for roofing, roof maintenance, concrete rehabilitation and industrial repair/floor systems. As a full-service roofing contractor, Houck Services installs green, single-ply, BUR, copper, slate, shingles and structural/architectural metal roofs. The company’s roof maintenance department is on-call 24/ 7/365 to provide routine and emergency roof repair service. Floor technicians install and repair all types of resinous flooring systems.
