Dressed in a black vest, tie and white dress shirt, William Rosado reached out his hand confidently to representatives from about a dozen local companies who are looking for workers.
Rosado, a Hammond resident, spent 10 years in the Army before he was discharged in 1986 due to an injury. He started his own security firm, but he became disillusioned with the work.
When he took a jobs and personality test, he was surprised to find that his skills aligned with the accounting field.
