Unemployed and underemployed veterans can search for jobs and receive help at the “Serving Those Who Have Served Us” Veterans’ Job Fair at Kent State University.
The event, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 28 at the Student Center, is free and open to all veterans.
In addition to meeting employers interested in hiring Armed Forces veterans, veterans can be connected with services and programs that they or their spouses may be eligible for through the Veterans Administration. The job fair also includes presentations about job hunting, interviewing, résumé building, networking, building a LinkedIn profile and maximizing GI benefits.
