Veterans react to charity group moving Alaska office responsibilities to Seattle

A charity group that provides services to veterans recently announced plans to restructure its organization and move its Alaska office responsibilities to Seattle.

Veterans who use Wounded Warrior Project’s services said the move could hurt others who need easier access to services.

Reese Hines, a medically retired veteran said being able to interact with four outreach coordinators in-state provided help he doesn’t believe would be the same over the phone.
